Ingredients
- 10 cabbage leaves. Big ones
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c cooked rice
- 2 c tomato sauce
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper. Chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp sugar
Preparation
- Submerge the leaves in boiling water for 1-2 min until limp
- Remove and let them dry off while you mix the filling
- Mix beef, onions, rice, garlic, and 1/2 c tomato sauce in a bowl
- Place about 1/2 c of meat mix in each cabbage leaf and fold them up like a package
- Line them up in a baking dish, seam side down
- Pre heat oven to 350
- Mix the sugar with the remaining tomato sauce
- Pour on top of the stuffed leaves
- Bake covered for 45 min

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
3 cloves garlic minced - 1/2 red bell pepper chopped
- 4 scallions chopped
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp hoisin
- Optional- 1 c diced chicken breast or sliced pork
- To make it more like moo shu pork add
- 2 eggs beaten
- Make a thin omelet and slice it
Preparation
- Heat the oil in a big skillet or Dutch oven
- Add pepper flakes, sesame seeds, ginger, garlic, scallions, sugar and meat if you are adding it
- Stir constantly about 4 -5 min
- Add cabbage
- Mix thoroughly
- Cover and simmer for 10 min
- Add bell pepper
- Stir to mix it
- Simmer 10 more min
- Add soy and hoisin
- And sliced omelet if you are adding it
- Mix and serve
Ingredients
- 1 lg cabbage chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 lg can whole peeled tomatoes
- 6 stalks celery chopped
- 48 oz low sodium V8 juice
4 c water - 1 tsp hot sauce
- For more flavor add 2 cubes bouillon.
Preparation
- Just throw it all into a big pot
- Bring it to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer about 1 hr
