croquettes recipes

Croquettes are amazingly delicious and incredibly easy to make. Grandma Scamper used to make chicken croquettes with a white gravy. We loved them. She made salmon croquettes on Christmas Eve and good Friday every year. In Madrid we discovered Serrano ham croquettes at a tapas bar.

Once we started to explore different varieties, we realized that most cultures have some type of croquette. They can be made with meat, vegetables, fish and even fruit. Try a couple of these recipes and you’ll probably come up with some new ones to enjoy. Let us know if you find one that you love.

Chicken Croquettes

Grandma’s way. After Thanksgiving, we would catch her using turkey. She would shrug her shoulders, look at the turkey, look at us and say, ” Don’t you kids have something productive to do?  I’m trying to make the chicken croquettes.”
